About this album

Rewarded for their debut album—2010’s Light & Gold—with a GRAMMY®, the world-renowned Eric Whitacre Singers continue their remarkable ascent with Live at Union Chapel. In a working, 19th-century London church, Whitacre leads his choir through a brief but sublime set that includes a suite of breathtaking originals (“Three Flower Songs”), a haunting work from Emmy-nominated American composer Jeff Beal (“Poor in Spirit”), and a luminous performance of “The Lamb”—a John Tavener-penned piece set to the William Blake poem of the same name.
