Bad Neighbor

Three hip-hop greats come together for this easygoing ode to Southern California living. MED and Blu are the hosts, spitting slang-filled rhymes about life on the West Coast. Meanwhile, Madlib offers a platter of head-nod beats, like the percussion-slapping rhythm of “Get Money” and the hydraulic-powered disco-funk of “The Strip", that keeps this backyard jam poppin’. The trio encourages an open-door policy, too, with The Foreign Exchange’s Phonte Coleman dropping a verse on “Finer Things” and Mayer Hawthorne crooning over disco lounge beats on “The Buzz".
