About this album
Wisin & Yandel were two of reggaeton's breakout stars, and Dangerous finds the duo’s looser half annexing new ground. Lil Jon-powered opener "Calentura Trap Edition" ditches dembow for rave-ready EDM (as does confetti-blasting Pitbull collab "Asesina"), but Yandel is talented enough to have it both ways: "No Sales de Mi Mente" dials the beat back for an afterparty where ska drifts across a secluded beach. For "Mi Combo (Spiff TV)," his coup de grâce, Yandel even takes on Atlanta MC Future, holding his own with winding, double-time Spanish flows.
