Los Favoritos

With Los Favoritos, Arcángel drafts a team of lyrical all-stars to his cause. He and Nicky Jam pine for old lovers over the sentimental synth-strings of "Pensándote," while wingman De La Ghetto (among others) joins for "Más Piquete Que Yo," which rumbles with the ominous bluster of a DJ Khaled posse cut. The versatile singer finds his musical match in executive producer DJ Luian: Where the smooth "Chikiribón" dusts off the genre's Jamaican roots, "El Favorito de Tu Gata" sounds like a disintegrating vision quest into its digital future.
