SoulMate - Single

About five months after releasing Man of the Woods, Justin Timberlake trades his hiking boots for flip-flops and vies for some instant-song-of-the-summer consideration. The tropical ode to sweltering one-night stands was recorded in the Bahamas, and sounds like it; with the help of frequent Drake collaborators Nineteen85 and James Fauntleroy, Timberlake reportedly put the single together the week before its surprise release. The opening declaration sounds less like a suggestion than a command: “Summer. Starts. Now.”
