About this album

The acclaimed Inuit artist’s fifth LP puts politics front and center. Weaving between abstract rhythms and Tagaq’s profoundly emotional (and technically impressive) throat singing, Retribution tackles everything from climate change to sexual assault in a fierce musical protest only she could pull off. A spine-tingling Nirvana cover closes out the album.
