About this album
Frozen boasts a fantastic soundtrack that incorporates Disney musical traditions from across the eras. While “Frozen Heart” and “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” echo the sunny sing-alongs perfected in Aladdin and The Little Mermaid, Josh Gad brings a dose of comic relief to “In Summer,” a throwback to classic Hollywood comedy. Christophe Beck’s score translates wintertime romance, but Idina Menzel’s “Let It Go” is a performance for the ages. A perfect integration of structure, story, and emotion, this collection speaks to anyone coming into his or her own.
