The Muppets (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

Actors Amy Adams and Jason Segel join our favourite furry friends to sing Muppet classics and new covers from the 2011 movie. Old favourites like the Kermit-Miss Piggy duet “Rainbow Connection” and the mumbly “Mah Na Mah Na” are right at home alongside a poultry-peckin’ version of CeeLo Green’s “Forget You.” The piano-driven original track “Man or Muppet” drips with rock-opera drama, while guests Starship, Mickey Rooney, and Paul Simon add even more eclecticism. But nothing tops the barbershop quartet’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit.”
