About this album
Mustard’s latest set of bass-heavy gems cements his reputation as the new arbiter of West Coast style. That R&B crooners and gangster rappers are equally enlivened by his beats only certifies that his sound is in its prime. The killer chemistry he’s developed with YG and Ty Dolla $ign peaks on “Been a Long Time,” just one of this collection’s many stunners.
