Digital Box Set

Nick Drake’s whispery, autumnal folk takes William Blake’s lyrical wonder at the natural world and places it against masterful finger-style acoustic guitar. His bewitching songs sparkle with jazzy sophistication (“Northern Sky”) or hang heavy with sombre orchestration (“Way to Blue”). This set brings together all his available songs from the turn of the ‘70s, showcasing his short journey from ghostly chamber pop (“River Man”) to eerie pastoral ballads (“Pink Moon”) to the haunted man of his final recordings (“Black Eyed Dog”).
