Notebook (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

Notebook, a love story about two people who fall in love after reading each other's diary entries, is matched well with a soundtrack that features yearning vocals and electric guitar over melodic Hindustani pop. On "Nai Lagda", Vishal Sharma's rough, vibrant voice slips effortlessly between a simple piano melody before hitting a powerful chorus. "Bhumro" offers a new version of an upbeat Kashmiri folk classic, which pays its respects to its roots with vibrant dhol beats while adding a twist of EDM.
