About this album

The Collision Course EP set a new standard for mash-ups, with JAŸ-Z and LINKIN PARK combining (and sometimes even re-recording) their older tracks to create rap rock at its finest. The "Numb / Encore" fusion, for instance, becomes practically operatic, with Jay and Mike Shinoda trading verses that effortlessly flow into one another. "Izzo / In the End," on the other hand, shines some light on LINKIN PARK's gloomy original thanks to Jay's sunny Jackson 5 sample.
