Tarkan’s second album was the Turkish singer’s commercial breakthrough, and its provocative attitude, epic balladry, and kinetic grooves turned him into a TV and radio star. His hunky vulnerability shines through on the heart-melting breakup anthem “Kis Günesi,” but he hits the rebound with “Gül Döktüm Yollarina,” an Anatolian pop jam full of darbuka fills and come-hither lyrics.
