About this album
After splitting with angel-voiced Art Garfunkel, Paul Simon went on to release album after album of proudly literate, emotionally rich and globally informed popular music. Covering 1971 to 2006, this bountiful collection reflects Simon's nearly flawless pop craftsmanship in hits like "Kodachrome" and "You Can Call Me Al", plus the gospel-driven "Loves Me Like a Rock" and other proud Americana, the South African-inflected glory of "Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes" and late-career sonic experiments with Brian Eno ("Outrageous").
