Shor (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

Laxmikant-Pyarelal are among the most renowned Music Directors in the Indian film industry, and their talents are on display in their soundtrack for Shor. The duo's score earned them a Filmfare nomination for Best Music, with a nod to Santosh Anand for his lyrics on popular hit "Ek Pyar Ka Nagma Hai". The orchestral arrangements reflect the film's small-town setting: ensemble track "Jeevan Chalne Ka Naam" features Manna Dey, Mahendra Kapoor and Shyama Chittar, while Lata Mangeshkar's performance on "Gagan Pe Do Tare Takraye" highlights the journey of Shor's female protagonist.
