About this album
With rich harmonies and pinup-idol looks, this five-member boy band became turn-of-the-millennium hitmakers. This set collects their biggest early singles: feather-light pop tracks like the breezy “I Want It That Way” and the wounded “Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)” surround their soulful vocals with lush arrangements; harder-edged tracks like the tale of phone-battery intrigue “The Call” and the statement of purpose “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” keep the harmonies intact over the clamour of the club.
