About this album
Largely dispensing with the sample-happy production techniques of his earlier work, Swiss producer Fabio Friedli carves out crepuscular electro-soul full of hypnotic melodies, contemplative space and intoxicatingly sad guest vocals. From “Wish You Were Here”’s mournful house pulse to the anxiously twisted R&B of “Take Me to a Place”, All I Need leaves the numbing euphoria of the club behind to board the nightbuses carrying lost souls back towards trouble and heartbreak.
