5.0 (Deluxe Version)

Nelly smooths out his sticky, neck-snappin’ style here, the St. Lunatic evolving his sound to incorporate more soaring synths and stadium-ready choruses. The uplifting electronics and rallying hooks of “Just a Dream” are made for waving arms in the summer sun, while “She’s So Fly” features slick, sensual orchestration. On “Gone”, Nelly reunites with “Dilemma” co-star Kelly Rowland for a hip-hop ballad sequel that recaptures the original’s fresh chemistry and heartfelt sentiment.
