About this album

Khaled’s albums feature star-powered posse cuts—not to mention plenty of “We the best!” ad-libs—but the Miami DJ outdoes himself with Kiss the Ring. On this eclectic compilation, the sparkly R&B of “Take It to the Head”, with Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross and Chris Brown, sits alongside the mournful dancehall of “Suicidal Thoughts”, a showcase for Kingston’s Mavado. There’s even something for the old heads: “Hip Hop”, a boom-bap slow-burner featuring Nas, Scarface and DJ Premier.
