About this album
Recorded for a 1994 MTV special, the Eagles' first reunion album boasts 11 strong live performances and four new studio tracks—all showing the band in fine fighting form. Live highlights include a gutsy, edgy version of the strutting rocker "Life In the Fast Lane", a Latin-flavored acoustic version of "Hotel California" and a haunting take on the elegant piano ballad "Desperado". The bluesy, slide-guitar-charged "Get Over It" and wistful "Love Will Keep Us Alive" reveal the strength of the band's new material.
