About this album

Crafted on a cheap laptop in 2011, Twin Fantasy became the Bandcamp triumph that flagged Will Toledo as an indie rock visionary. Seven years later, he reimagines his teenage masterpiece and cements its cult status. While crackling amps on “My Boy (Twin Fantasy)” preserve the lo-fi sound of the original, this new recording gleams with studio polish. “Nervous Young Inhumans” emerges from its chrysalis as a punchy pop hit, while vocal clarity injects a newfound intimacy into “Sober to Death”’s poetry. Early converts will cherish this revamped tribute, while new fans will be inspired to delve deeper into the catalog of Car Seat Headrest curiosities.
