Eye On It (Deluxe Edition)

tobyMac’s sixth studio album is a straight-up crowd-pleaser. Bright and catchy, Eye On It is a master class in gleaming, state-of-the-art pop. Synthesizers give it an electronic vibe—even hinting at dubstep—but at the forefront are the artist’s sharp melodies and knack for positive, non-preachy spirituality. He mostly leaves his hip-hop days behind him, but listen for a slick guest verse from Lecrae on “Forgiveness”. And if you like that, you’ll love the sunny sing-along “Speak Life”.
