After four albums of proggy complexity and dark themes, heavy-metal pioneers Judas Priest stripped away the fat and donned their now-iconic leather, handcuffs and studs for this torrid, fist-pumping 1979 album. Singer Rob Halford revels in S&M imagery over the grinding blues-rock of “Evil Fantasies”.
