About this album

"I was born to play the guitar, people/ I got blues running through my veins," Buddy Guy wails on the title track of his 28th album. He never forgets his juke-joint roots, performing an affecting acoustic ode to Muddy Waters on “Come Back Muddy” and a moving tribute to B.B. King on the ballad “Flesh & Bone” (with Van Morrison). Whether dueting with Joss Stone and string section or trading electric licks with ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons, Guy’s bluesy howl and urgent guitar endure.
