About this album
St. Paul’s Cathedral Choir present a survey of a beautiful tradition. Thomas Tallis’ reverent “Salvator Mundi” is right at home here, its stupendous waves of vocal polyphony crashing gracefully against marvelous cathedral walls. The rippling “Hallelujah!”s of Purcell’s “O God, Thou Art My God” find the right tone.
