Jon Gooch began his production career as Spor, turning out dark, precision-cut drum 'n' bass. With Feed Me, he widened the palette to include electro-house and dubstep, while keeping the production intricacy, machine bass and quirky personality that are his signatures. One minute he's collaborating on fantasy dance with indie acts Hadouken! and Crystal Fighters, the next, he's mimicking cat steps with synth patches or talking in robot voices.
