Portugal. The Man's tunes get their brightly coloured vibes from the band's multifaceted—and groovy—tastes. Since the mid-'00s, they've been cranking out spirited songs that cover warped, folky, psychedelic aggression (“Evil Friends”); airy, orchestral ‘60s pop sunshine (“So American”); and glitchy, rhythmic indie rock (“How the Leopard Got Its Spots”).
