Love Shop, founded in 1986 by Danish singer-songwriters Hilmer Hassig and Jens Unmack, stepped into the pop music scene with a storm of wildly magnetic and sweetly sarcastic hits such as “Love Goes On Forever” or “Copenhagen Dreaming”. Although they took a hiatus in 2004, Love Shop made their big comeback in 2010 with the album Salvation Army. This new album promised assertive harmonies backed by a bigger and bolder sound—with instant classics like “Skyggehjerte”, calling to mind the dark synth-rock work of New Order.
