Elyana Essentials

The release of the album Satu in 2002 introduced the 15-year-old Elyana as a sweet pop newcomer, having been released on the back of her successful single "Niat", which had boosted the singer's popularity on the airwaves the previous year. While her follow-up album Segalanya failed to reach the heights of Satu, Elyana returned to form in 2005 with Bicara Mata Ini and its infectious single "Tak Tercapai Akalmu". With bright, soulful vocal flourishes—and a willingness to adorn her pure pop with rock and R&B styles—Elyana has cemented her status on the Malaysian pop scene.
