About this playlist
DJ Paul and Juicy J rose from the Memphis DJ scene of the '80s to become mainstream hip-hop hitmakers. As part of Three 6 Mafia, the duo coined a production style that fused fierce hi-hats with demonic synth lines. Best known for working with Hypnotized Minds family members like Project Pat, Lil Wyte, and Gangsta Boo, they went on to mine funk and soul samples to crack the mainstream in the '00s.
