About this playlist

Originally part of the alt-country Scud Mountain Boys, brothers Joe and Bob Pernice turned to lush, often-downcast pop as a duo. This playlist includes both incarnations along with spinoffs like Chappaquiddick Skyline, essentially Joe's solo project. One of their associates, drummer Ric Menck, is also co-leader of the underrated pop combo Velvet Crush and a sometime-member of Shoes.
